It is Christmas Eve and I have had an enormous day, preparing for my family Christmas lunch tomorrow. Everything is set with not too much to do in the morning - mainly last minute tidying etc. before the crowd arrives and final decorations to be added to the pergola area. Kirby patiently hung all these baubles today (in the heat too!). In the morning we will set the tables with Christmas cloths and add tinsel and some decorations and crackers and trim the lovely fresh pine tree that we have - funnily, attached to my rotary clothes line and hiding it beautifully! More pics later.

I heard this quote last year when the Today show was interviewing children about Christmas . One little boy, very innocently said:
"Christmas is the love in the room, when you stop opening your presents....
and listen."
