You can tell Autumn is creeping in... the mornings are very fresh and chilly and this morning there was a mist hanging around.

Spiders have been very busy...
~

Can you see this one - it was a long single web going horizontally from one bush to another then a 'drop line' to the ground - all dewy. Lucky I didn't walk through it! Erk!
~

Have a look at this maze of webs - okay, now I am officially freaked out!
~

As if my social life hasn't been busy enough lately, we headed to Adelaide on the weekend to finish up the painting at the unit - well Gus did the painting, we watched! Kirby prepared this lovely salad to go with the King George Whiting Gus prepared.
~

Yummy bread crumbed zesty prawns for appetizer.
~

Potato and sweet potato bake.
~

Kirby had a nasty little visitor in her salad - a spider!
~

A very nice Friday night in.
~

Saturday night, we dined at
Enzo's Ristorante. Unfortunately, when we got there, they had us booked in for the Pizzeria but we had intended to be in the restaurant. We showed great disappointment and were then told if we waited 30 minutes they would be able to seat us. Thank you! Exactly 30 minutes later, we had a table in the middle of the restaurant. Bravo!
Gus chose this white wine because he knows the wine maker...
The Lane...
~

Breezi...
~

Crusty bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil and a tomato and chilli oil for dipping...
~

Kirby's entree - Arancini con polpa di granchio - Saffron risotto balls filled with blue swimmer crab meat, served with Napoletana sauce

Angus chose the special - oven baked figs with a gorgonzola sauce...
~

Brianna chose Bruschetta al pomodoro for entree - Toasted continental bread topped with fresh tomato, extra virgin olive oil, garlic and basil
~
I didn't have entree. I was trying to be very good...
~

This was my 'entree' sized main - Ravioli alla Bolognese - Enzo’s own meat filled ravioli with Bolognese sauce. Delicious - and I only ate half!
~

Kirby had Linguine con polpa di granchio - Blue swimmer crab meat, chilli and fresh tomato
~

Bri chose the Gnocchi alla Napoletana - Potato dumplings hand made from Mondello farm’s royal blue potato with Napoletana sauce. So very tender.
~

For main, Gus had Quaglie alla brace - Char-grilled marinated quails, served with a tomato, red onion, cucumber, olive and basil salad
~

Brianna's plate...
~

Brianna chose a rich chocolate mousse for dessert (sorry, I couldn't find the desserts listed on the on-line menu)
~

Now, please don't judge me - but I just had to have the Tiramisu...
~

It was the BEST!
~
Bri and I got home at 7pm. She has to turn around and drive back on Wednesday as she has a Nursing workshop on Thursday. She will stay in Adelaide for good then as her course starts soon.
~
Cheers - Joolz
